Career orientation

Become familiar with one’s own strengths, explore careers, train for the application. For young people to be able to meet these challenges during their transition from school to work, they need to become familiar very early with vocational choice and training. The staff of the orientation action assist them in this process.

Ready for the start of training
The KAGEDEV vocational guidance programme helps students who wish to obtain a high school diploma or pursue training in Germany or Cameroon to choose their future training location.
During a one-week fair, the different trainings with the required characteristics, the possibilities in the labor market, the requirements for candidates, etc. presented.

Our objectives:
Strengthen professional, personal and social skills;
Identify and develop individual skills;
Become familiar with a wide range of occupations – and their profiles – in order to find the right training position;
Learn to correctly assess one’s own performance potential in relation to the desired profession.
It is particularly about supporting disadvantaged young people and improving their chances of training.
