Raising awareness of preventative actions and offering fundamental support are our top priorities. In addition to the actions detailed in our special report,

Due of the pandemic, all schools in Cameroon are closed. KAGEDEV promoted the mobilization of mother groups to guarantee educational continuity and lower the likelihood of school dropout among children in rural areas. In collaboration with the Fondation Femmes Unies et Solidaires, these women are taking part in an initiative that aims to improve elementary school academic performance. Children can participate in educational activities at home with this innovative program, which was created in the Center's province.

Families working in the provinces can receive emergency aid from KAGEDEV, which has provided food and emergency hygiene kits. The children were given enough nourishment. Everyone was informed about the COVID-19 safety measures. These actions benefited over 2,100 people.
