November will bring further changes for customers. New month, new rules. Among other things, there are new regulations for Corona residents who are not vaccinated, an increase in the cost of Paypal, and modifications to the list of punishments. More remuneration for unvaccinated people in quarantine

In the majority of federal states, those who are unable to work because to a quarantine caused by Corona are still getting paid. The state has so far stepped in and paid businesses back for the so-called maintenance of salary payments. However, as of November 1st, those who are not vaccinated will no longer be subject to this measure: According to Health Minister Jens Spahn, "We have agreed that no salary replacement allowance will be paid to unvaccinated people," and "It is good that we have decided on a uniform approach throughout Germany." This only applies to those who can receive vaccinations and for whom vaccination is advised.

Possible end of the epidemic situation


Jens Spahn, the Federal Minister of Health, demanded that the "nationwide epidemic situation" that has served as the legal justification for actions taken to combat the coronavirus since March 2020 end. It will automatically expire on November 25th if there is no extension. The Bundestag has the last say on this issue, which is still up for debate.
Additionally, the SPD, FPD, and Greens, who may form a traffic light alliance in the future, do not want to prolong the pandemic scenario. However, in order to maintain the application of some Corona regulations, such the requirement to wear a mask, the law on infection prevention must be changed as part of a transitional arrangement until March 20, 2022. Increase in PayPal fees


PayPal users who transfer or receive money to the UK will be subject to increased costs starting on November 10. They will rise from 0.5% to 1.29% as a result of Brexit. The corporation claims that the goal is to increase the international comparability of transactions.

Speeding and stationing will become more expensive

Important information for drivers: starting on November 9, 2021, there will be harsher penalties for parking and speeding. The modifications listed below are applicable:
Fines for speeding in agglomerations:

  • 30 euros (formerly 15 euros) for exceeding 10 km/h.
  • 50 euros (formerly 30 euros) for going 11 to 15 km/h too quickly
  • 70 euros (formerly 35 euros) for going 16 to 20 km/h too quickly
  • Too fast: 21 to 25 km/h: 115 euros (80 euros thus far)
  • Too fast: 26 to 30 km/h: 180 euros (100 euros thus far)
  • 260 euros (formerly 160 euros) for going 31 to 40 km/h too quickly
  • Too fast: 41 to 50 km/h: 400 euros (200 euros thus far)
  • 560 euros (formerly 280 euros) for going 51 to 60 km/h too quickly
  • 61 to 70 km/h too fast: 700 euros (previously 480 euros)
  • more than 70 km/h too fast: 800 euros (so far 680 euros)


In the future, there will be a fine of up to 110 euros for anyone parking their car in the second row, on the walkways or bike paths, or in the emergency lane. The penalty will be raised to 100 euros for approaching firemen and to 55 euros for obstructing electronic charging outlets.


Change of car insurance: 30.11.2021 is the deadline
